Both molecular data and native uses of maize (corn) have been made accessible through an online website. This is important because documented data that are not made widely accessible are effectively lost. The website was coded in html. Links between related pages were put into place, and data generated in the wet lab and compiled from other sources were uploaded. Especially unique to the website is the section describing Native American tribes' unique uses of corn. In addition to utilizing corn to make tacos, corn flour, tortillas, popcorn, and corn on the cob, Native American tribes also use corn in various unique and distinctive ways. They also pray to the holy god by chanting and singing, and they give thanks to the holy god by showing gratitude for the corn that they have.
