• Robert's research is "Plant Germplasm Conservation" to gain a comprehensive, broad understanding of maize germplasm conservation activities and their impact. ~to relate this understanding to the methods and quality of data capture.

  Nathan Etsitty (Navajo)

  • Nate's research is testing out two softwares in hopes of making a transition from getting info by hand to using technology for that purpose. In addition, Running DNA test on several ears of corn in hopes of identifying the abnormal ten chromosome that has created such a stir. To add, Nate's Poster title is "It's more than just corn".

    Jordan ShellTrack (Navajo/Sioux)

    • Jordan research is observing cages,comparing the ALC (alfalfa leaf cutting) bee and the honeybee to figure out if the ALC can be a supplement for the honey bee because the honey bee is going through the colony collapse order, and if the honey bee's at the Plant Introductory station becomes affected with this disorder then it'll be difficult and expensive to replace, and figure out if the ALC can pollinate the same plant as the honey bee.
