Plant Genome Outreach Program For Natives

Chromosome 4 was discovered in one of the images. The measurement was taken and it came out to be 61 m. Its “snake eyes”, centromere and darker region on its long arm were also identified. According to Kato, the “snake eyes” on the short arm is an indication that it is chromosome 4. The “snake eyes” may be due to a microsatellite 1-26-2 clone or a pMTY9ER telomere-associated sequence. However, no knobs were identified during the research.
